ROBERT DE WETTER
The Rev. Dr. Robert de Wetter is Senior Pastor at Snowmass Chapel. He earned his Doctorate in Psychology at UCLA, and practiced psychology for 15 years before the call to ministry. Robert earned a Masters of Divinity from Sewanee: The University of the South and is an ordained Episcopal priest. Robert began serving Snowmass Chapel in 2009.
Rev. Charla Belinski earned her Master’s of Divinity(MDiv) from Iliff School of Theology and was ordained at Snowmass Chapel in 2017. She holds a BA from University of Denver in Mass Communications, and worked as a writer/producer in broadcast news, as well as a parent educator and writer before joining the Chapel staff in 2010. She serves as Associate Pastor and is currently working on her doctoral degree from Duke University Divinity School.
Music Director & Information Technology
Paul has been responsible for Music and Technology at Snowmass Chapel since the fall of 2006. He earned his Bachelor of Music Education from Wisconsin’s University of Eau Claire and his Master of Music Education from the University of Southern Mississippi. You may also have seen Paul acting or directing theatre shows throughout the Roaring Fork Valley or conducting Handel’s “Messiah” for Aspen Choral Society. In his spare time, he enjoys Colorado’s beautiful nature – especially while riding his electric unicycle over treacherous mountain passes!
Director of Marketing & Communications
Kara holds a BS from Arizona State University in Business Marketing, and she began her career in Corporate America in the sales / marketing realm. Contact Kara for Chapel related marketing / communication needs and opportunities. A passionate advocate for outdoor play and lovin’ on kids, Kara is also co-founder of Camp Smashbox at Snowmass Chapel.
Julie is responsible for all the operations of the Chapel, including Finance, Human Resources, Building and Grounds, and anything else that might pop up. A variety of past roles include Elementary School Teacher, Case Manager, Investigator, Provider Relations, but most importantly Family Glue. She has a Bachelor’s degree in management and a Master’s in Elementary Education.
SUE DE CAMPO
Sue coordinates the Chapel’s Stephen Ministry, Caring Connection, Altar Guild, and all aspects of our caring ministries. Contact Sue for information on Baptisms and other sacramental rites. She also serves as Cemetery Sexton for Hidden Valley Cemetery in Snowmass Village. Sue holds a Masters in Education from Boston University and is a passionate advocate for mental healthcare.
Audio Visual Manager
Adam manages the audio/visual department at Snowmass Chapel. Contact Adam for sound or video related needs, including the Chapel’s Sunday morning live stream or to schedule a professional for special events. Adam holds a BS in Marketing and a MBA in Entrepreneurship from Florida State University. Adam is also a freelance photographer/videographer and is responsible for most, if not all, of our cool factor.
Travis Buckner came on staff in 2021 and is thrilled to share his leadership and energy with the youth and teens of our valley. Travis loves to play basketball and serves as a coach at Aspen High. He is a proud father of an adorable little girl, Sophia. Being from the big city, Travis is stoked to learn all things winter, nature, and outdoors, so give him a call and get him outside!
MICAHEL “MICHA” SCHOEPE
Marion hails from Birmingham, Alabama, but has Called Snowmass Village home for 42 years. She got her BA degree from Mercer University in Macon Georgia. She has attended The chapel from the days it first opened it’s doors. She has served as a Sunday school teacher here for over 20 years, and served as a board member for two different terms. She has also served as a Stephen Minister in the first group that was inducted at SMC.
PETER DE WETTER
I’ve attended the chapel since I moved to Snowmass Village 11 years ago with my family. I love being outdoors – especially the mountains and beach, where I enjoy snowboarding and skimboarding. I also like being active through sports as well as listening to and making music.
